The cost for using the EchoAlert system will vary according to the service provider and how the product is sold. People tracking companies may offer it at no additional charge to their existing subscribers, while other companies, such as wireless carriers, may offer it on a stand-alone basis, on a per-user per month basis. Text messages, which drive the service, and roaming charges, where applicable, may cost extra.
