EchoAlert and its owners are committed to protecting your privacy and the details of your mobile phone number. While the nature of our relationship requires that we acquire personal information, under no circumstances will any of that individually identifiable information knowingly be made available to any party outside of our organization. Even within our company, only those people that require your personal information in order to assist in providing you with better services will have access to that information.

Collection and Use of Personal Information
During the course of use, EchoAlert users may choose to add optional personal information; however, in some cases, EchoAlert collects personally identifiable information that includes Mobile Phone Number and Mobile Handset Identification Number (MSISDN). This information is collected to prevent fraud, identify the member, provide a means of contacting the member to deliver the messages that other event attendee's may send, and to send occasional necessary service announcements. This information is for internal use only and will not be disclosed to parties outside of EchoAlert. Your information will never be sold to a mass circulation database nor will you receive any form of text messaging spam. You will only receive information for which you have expressly consented to receive. Over the course of our relationship, information will be created that was not intended but merely resulted from the regularity of transactions. EchoAlert reserves the right to monitor and analyze this data. However, we are committed to honest and open communication and will make your personal information available to you upon request.

Use Provisions
Your personal information will remain current and accurate for as long as it is required to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer of EchoAlert. We will take all necessary and reasonable measures to safeguard that information from any unauthorized access. EchoAlert will not provide or release users' personal information to any third party unless you have opted-in to do so. Traffic data and personal data may be used for editorial and feedback purposes, for marketing and promotional purposes, for statistical analysis of users' behaviour, for product development, for content improvement, and to inform advertisers of how may visitors have seen or clicked on their advertisements. In these cases, data is reported on an aggregate (i.e., group) basis. We may share this information with other parties, but when we do so it is not traceable to any particular user, nor does it reveal any particular user's personal information, unless permission to do so has been given by the user. In addition, traffic and personal data may be used to customize and tailor a user's experience, by narrowing content to that we think you may be interested in.

Security
The site and platform has security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information within our control. We have put in place reasonable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. These measures may or may not be vulnerable to hacking, and we do not guarantee complete security.

Opt-Out Choice
We provide users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communication from our partners and us when we request information from them. Users may send a request to remove their information from our database, stop future communication, limit the use of information, or to review and modify information that may have been previously provided. Users can remove their information from our database entirely by using the 'unregister' command on our service.

Consumer access to their personal information
We are committed to keeping you informed. At your request we will provide you with the personal information that we have, what it is being used for. In some limited cases, we may be unable to access or provide some specific information. We will provide reasonable rationale for any inability to release information.
