Community Health Care Patient Manager
About
EchoAlert is a mobile security application which has been built to help community health care services to watch patients who are living at home or the health care workers who are visiting them. The system is a cost-effective way to give patients an extra level of attention and care, while freeing up critical resources in the field. The EchoAlert system has been designed to alert care teams in the event that a patient suffers an event that would not allow them to call for help on their own (e.g. loss of consciousness, debilitating fall, etc.)
How It Works:

- The patient is reminded to check in with the system on a regular basis,
at intervals determined in advance by the care team.
- As long as the patient checks in on time, the system only logs the response.
- If the patient responds late or misses a response the system will alert monitors
to potential danger, informing them to check further.
- The monitoring party can choose to be notified of every response or for
security alerts only.
- In Alert Mode the system can optionally increase frequency of messages to the patient, alerting the care team if there is any response.
EchoAlert's underlying technology is a patent pending server-based system, which means deployment is fast and simple, and any cell phone can use the service with no requirement for downloads or complicated instructions.
The Bottom Line
Community health care services can offer a higher degree of care while being able to redirect current resources to more urgent matters, creating a more effective organization that makes better use of limited financial resources.
